We know that many of you will be in discussions within your association, Taiwan Medical Library Association, to attend the IFLA International Futures Summit (IIFS) planned for 30 September – 2 October 2024 in Brisbane, Australia.
As part of your preparations and planning, we wanted to give you advance notice that a meeting of IFLA’s Association members will be held as an associated event in conjunction with the IIFS.
What: IFLA Association Members Meeting
When: Thursday 3 October 2024
Location: State Library of Queensland
Time: Morning, to be confirmed
Being able to meet face to face provides a compelling opportunity to connect and consider how IFLA and its association members can take advantage of the issues raised during the Summit and major documents such as the new IFLA Strategy and Trend Report that will have been launched. With a meeting in the morning, you can still take advantage of library tours in the afternoon. More information on the logistics and agenda to follow.
