中文 – 臺灣醫學圖書館學會 TMLA

臺灣醫學圖書館學會（TMLA）於 2025 年 11 月 4 日至 7 日安排赴日參訪行程，作為與日本醫學圖書館協會（JMLA）首次雙向交流的重要里程碑。本次活動的緣起源於 2024 年 12 月雙方簽署姊妹學會，並邀請 JMLA 參加 2025 年 8 月於國立中興大學圖書館承辦之臺灣醫學圖書館年會，當時 JMLA 組團來臺參與，雙方在年會中便共同期待未來能有更深入的互動與合作。此次 11 月的日本訪問，即是 TMLA 對 JMLA 的正式回訪，也是雙方首次踏入彼此的專業場域進行交流，意義深遠。

本次 TMLA 參訪團共 16 位成員，來自馬偕醫學大學圖資處、臺北醫學大學圖書館、高雄醫學大學圖資處、清華大學圖書館、臺北榮總醫學圖書館及新竹臺大分院圖書室等機構。團員透過實地觀摩與座談，深入了解日本醫學圖書館的空間設計、研究支援服務、臨床資訊傳遞、及健康素養推廣等多元實務。

此次 2025 年日本參訪是一段開創性的旅程，象徵著臺灣與日本醫學圖書館界的合作邁入新的篇章。經過雙向互訪，雙方已奠定穩固的交流基礎，未來 TMLA 亦將持續拓展國際合作，並期待將此次所獲得的經驗，轉化為推動台灣醫學圖書館發展的動能。

The Taiwan Medical Library Association (TMLA) organized a study visit to Japan from November 4 to 7, 2025, marking an important milestone in the first bilateral exchange between TMLA and the Japan Medical Library Association (JMLA). This collaboration originated from the signing of a sister-association agreement in December 2024, followed by TMLA’s invitation for JMLA to attend the 2025 TMLA Annual Meeting hosted by the National Chung Hsing University Library in August 2025. JMLA formed a delegation to participate in the annual meeting, during which both associations expressed a shared desire to further strengthen interaction and cooperation. The November visit to Japan thus served as TMLA’s formal return visit to JMLA and marked the first time that both associations stepped into each other’s professional environments—an exchange of significant meaning.

The TMLA delegation consisted of 16 members from various institutions, including the Mackay Medical University Library, Taipei Medical University Library, Kaohsiung Medical University Library, National Tsing Hua University Library, Taipei Veterans General Hospital Medical Library, and National Taiwan University Hospital Hsinchu Branch Library. Through onsite observations and exchanges, the delegation gained deeper insights into Japan’s medical libraries, including space design, research support services, clinical information delivery, and health literacy promotion.

This 2025 visit to Japan was a pioneering journey, symbolizing a new chapter of collaboration between medical libraries in Taiwan and Japan. Through this first bilateral exchange, TMLA and JMLA have established a solid foundation for future cooperation. TMLA will continue to expand international partnerships and looks forward to transforming the insights gained from this visit into momentum for advancing the development of medical libraries in Taiwan.
