The Medical Library Association (MLA): MLA is a global, nonprofit educational organization comprising over 2,500 institutions and professionals in the health information field. Its mission is to support medical and health sciences librarians and other information professionals through community engagement, funding, continuing education in health information management, research, and evidence-based practice.

European Association for Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL): EAHIL is an active professional association that unites and inspires librarians and information professionals working in medical and health science libraries across Europe. Its goal is to enhance the quality of health library services through international collaboration and the sharing of expertise.

Medical Librarian Group (MLG), Librarians Association of Malaysia

Medical Librarian Group (MLG), Librarians Association of Malaysia: MLG is a subdivision of the Librarians Association of Malaysia (Persatuan Pustakawan Malaysia, PPM), established in 1997. Since its inception, MLG has organized multiple seminars, workshops, and lectures aimed at enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of medical librarians in Malaysia.

 

Japan Medical Library Association (JMLA)

Japan Medical Library Association (JMLA): Established in 1927 as the National Medical College Library Association, JMLA brings together various health sciences libraries affiliated with national, prefectural, municipal, and private institutions in Japan. Reformed as an incorporated non-profit organization in 2003, its mission is to contribute to the progress of health, medicine, and related areas by promoting health sciences library activities and encouraging research and development of medical and health information.
